SUPERMARKETS & SHOPS
The village has a small Morrison's Local about a 5 minute walk away which has basic food items plus newspapers, beers, wine, coal, logs and kindling.
Tesco, Bangor. Leave A55 at Junction 10.
10 minutes further towards the cottage and "on island" is Waitrose , Menai Bridge. It is easy to find as it's a few hundred metres after crossing the famous Thomas Telford 1826 suspension bridge - the first in the World.

Sosban And The Butchers - This "Michelin" restaurant is ideal for special occasions but you'll need to book WELL in advance - up to a year!
Bryn Williams, Colwyn Bay - "On the way" to Anglesey, just off the A55. I can highly recommend the breakfast and their fish fingers, chips and peas.
Pen-y-Bryn, Colwyn Bay. Good place to stop "on the way back" home on a Sunday for lunch.
