HOW TO GET THERE

Traditional Road Map:

  1. Leave the A55 at Junction 9, A487, signposted for Menai Bridge and hospital (Ysbyty) Gwynedd.

  2. At the first roundabout take first exit, then the second exit at the next roundabout. This will then lead you along a straight road towards another roundabout where you take the first exit onto the Thomas Telford suspension bridge. (Here's a video showing the journey across the bridge, through Menai Bridge and towards Beaumaris)

  3. As you exit the bridge get into the right hand lane to take the second exit through Menai Bridge town and along a scenic road towards Beaumaris.

  4. Drive through Beaumaris taking the B5109 for approximately 2 miles at which point you will enter Llangoed.

  5. Drive past the salmon pink Baptist chapel on the left hand side with the Morrison Daily shop immediately opposite to your right, then start to slow down.

  6. After about 350m and to your left you will see a house with slate tiles on its end wall. Turn left into this narrow lane and stop after about 100m where the lane widens and where it may be possible to park beside the row of trees immediately on your left.

  7. Note there is no parking in the two spaces at the end of the row of cottages. This is for residents only, however it should be possible to park there briefly to unload your car.
